I’m usually hesitant to celebrate the “cutting up” of old books. But the recycled paper “book art” made by British artist Su Blackwell is brilliant in every way.
According to the design weblog Inhabit, Blackwell,
“uses the humble and ephemeral qualities of paper to represent feelings of wonder and melancholy. She creates tranquil unique landscapes from cutting up pages of old books.”
