Vintage infographic promotes healthy, happy children

good health habits

Everything old is new again. Infographics are all the rage right now, but of course, they are not new. They have been used effectively for a century (or more) to convey a message using images + information.

This 1927 infographic is fantastic in its simplicity–twelve practical steps to ensure happy, healthy children. It’s from a lovely little book my sister picked up in Chicago called The Growing Child: His Needs and Care published by the Chicago Department of Health (November 1927).

More posts to come on this vintage health guide for children and parents.
