“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” – Albert Einstein
Yesterday, I stared at this gnarled old tree and wondered, “is it time to cut it down?”
When I took a closer look, I saw it was covered in dragonflies — their perfectly camouflaged perch by the water.
This little tree is not dead at all, but full of life.
It’s our dragonfly tree. And it will never be cut down.
Amazing how everything in nature has purpose and beauty. You just have to look. Something to think about as we go about our week.

I hadn’t seen it before either. We seem to have more dragonflies than usual this year…probably in response to all the mosquitoes!
